God’s Power Manual: A User’s Guide for Broken People
When Saints Admit They’re Sinners, Heaven Gets to Work
Let’s talk about the A-team of faith who looked more like the D-squad on paper.
Moses, the stuttering prince turned shepherd, told God He had the wrong number. “I can’t speak,” he said, probably tripping over the words as he said them. God’s response? “Perfect. You’ll lead my people.”
Job, the man who had it all, sat in ashes declaring, “I have no peace.” God used him to write the ultimate survival guide for suffering saints.
David? The giant-slayer himself got real: “I am a worm.” Not a warrior. Not a king. A worm. And God said, “That’s my man after my own heart.”
Isaiah, dropping holy bars in scripture, confessed: “I am a man of unclean lips.” God’s response? “Great, you’ll be my mouthpiece.”
Elijah, fresh off calling fire from heaven, curled up under a bush and told God, “I’ve had enough.” God’s answer? “Take a nap, eat a snack, we’re not done yet.”
And Paul? The apostle who wrote half the New Testament? He claimed the title “chief of sinners” like it was his LinkedIn headline.
See the pattern?
Every spiritual giant in scripture was a spiritual disaster on paper. Their résumés read like warning labels.
Why?
Because God isn’t looking for qualified applicants.
He’s looking for broken vessels.
Empty cups.
Cracked pots.
Your inadequacy isn’t a bug in God’s system.
It’s a feature.
When you say “I can’t,” God says “Watch this.”
When you say “I’m finished,” God says “We’re just getting started.”
When you say “I’m too broken,” God says “Perfect, now I can work.”
Stop trying to fix yourself enough for God to use you.
Stop waiting until you’re “spiritual enough” to serve.
Stop believing the lie that your weakness disqualifies you.
Your inadequacy is your qualification.
Your brokenness is your testimony.
Your weakness is your witness.
Because when you’re weak, He’s strong.
When you’re empty, He’s full.
When you’re inadequate, He’s more than enough.
The world needs polished experts?
No.
The world needs broken believers who know where their strength comes from.
So admit your weakness.
Confess your inadequacy.
Own your brokenness.
Then watch what God does with it.
Because in His hands, stutterers become prophets.
Worms become kings.
Sinners become saints.
And your “I can’t” becomes His “Just watch Me.”
Never, Never ever give up!!!
“Only one life to live and soon is past
Only what’s done for Christ will last!”
Hoping to make the time I have left count for the glory of God.
