Revelation 20:1-10
LESSON 1 PART E
THE RULE OF THE MESSIAH
* To run on into the new eternal creation (Rev. 21 and 22)
SO WHAT WILL IT BE LIKE:
* THE SKY CHANGES during the Kingdom (Isaiah 4:5,6; 30:26; 60:19).
Around the earth will apparently be surrounded by a new kind of
atmospheric light that will accelerate productivity on the Earth.
Isaiah 4:5-6
5 And the LORD will create upon every dwelling place of mount Zion,
and upon her assemblies, a cloud and smoke by day, and the shining
of a flaming fire by night: for upon all the glory shall be a defence.
6 And there shall be a tabernacle for a shadow in the daytime from
the heat, and for a place of refuge, and for a covert from storm and
from rain.
Isaiah 30:26
Moreover the light of the moon shall be as the light of
the sun, and the light of the sun shall be sevenfold, as the light of
seven days, in the day that the LORD bindeth up the breach of his people,
and healeth the stroke of their wound.
Isaiah 60:19
The sun shall be no more thy light by day; neither for brightness shall
the moon give light unto thee: but the LORD shall be unto thee an everlasting
light, and thy God thy glory.
* THE WORLD OF NATURE CHANGES during the Kingdom The curse will be
removed! The animal kingdom will find compatibility with human life
(Isaiah 11:6-9; 55:12, 13; 65:25). Agricultural production will be
abundant (Isaiah 30:23-25; 35:1-2).
Isaiah 11:6-9
6 The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with
the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little
child shall lead them.
7 And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together:
and the lion shall eat straw like the ox.
8 And the sucking child shall play on the hole of the asp, and the weaned child
shall put his hand on the cockatrice’ den.
9 They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be
full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.
Isaiah 55:12-13
12 For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and
the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the
field shall clap their hands.
13 Instead of the thorn shall come up the fir tree, and instead of the brier shall
come up the myrtle tree: and it shall be to the LORD for a name, for an everlasting
sign that shall not be cut off.
Isaiah 65:25
The wolf and the lamb shall feed together, and the lion shall eat straw like the bullock:
and dust shall be the serpent’s meat. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain,
saith the LORD.
Isaiah 30:23-25
23 Then shall he give the rain of thy seed, that thou shalt sow the ground withal;
and bread of the increase of the earth, and it shall be fat and plenteous: in that
day shall thy cattle feed in large pastures.
24 The oxen likewise and the young asses that ear the ground shall eat clean provender,
which hath been winnowed with the shovel and with the fan.
25 And there shall be upon every high mountain, and upon every high hill, rivers and
streams of waters in the day of the great slaughter, when the towers fall.
Isaiah 35:1-2
1 The wilderness and the solitary place shall be glad for them; and the desert shall
rejoice, and blossom as the rose.
2 It shall blossom abundantly, and rejoice even with joy and singing: the glory of
Lebanon shall be given unto it, the excellency of Carmel and Sharon, they shall see
the glory of the LORD, and the excellency of our God.
* THE THREAT OF DISEASE CHANGES as there will be no sickness or
deformity of any kind (Isaiah 29:17-19; 33:24; 35:3-7). There will
be exceptionally long life (Isaiah 65:19-23).
Isaiah 29:17-19
17 Is it not yet a very little while, and Lebanon shall be turned into a fruitful
field, and the fruitful field shall be esteemed as a forest?
18 And in that day shall the deaf hear the words of the book, and the eyes of the
blind shall see out of obscurity, and out of darkness.
19 The meek also shall increase their joy in the LORD, and the poor among men shall
rejoice in the Holy One of Israel.
Isaiah 33:24
And the inhabitant shall not say, I am sick: the people that dwell therein shall
be forgiven their iniquity.
Isaiah 35:3-7
3 Strengthen ye the weak hands, and confirm the feeble knees.
4 Say to them that are of a fearful heart, Be strong, fear not: behold, your God
will come with vengeance, even God with a recompence; he will come and save you.
5 Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped.
6 Then shall the lame man leap as an hart, and the tongue of the dumb sing: for in the
wilderness shall waters break out, and streams in the desert.
7 And the parched ground shall become a pool, and the thirsty land springs of water: in
the habitation of dragons, where each lay, shall be grass with reeds and rushes.
Isaiah 65:19-23
19 And I will rejoice in Jerusalem, and joy in my people: and the voice of weeping shall
be no more heard in her, nor the voice of crying.
20 There shall be no more thence an infant of days, nor an old man that hath not filled
his days: for the child shall die an hundred years old; but the sinner being an hundred
years old shall be accursed.
21 And they shall build houses, and inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, and
eat the fruit of them.
22 They shall not build, and another inhabit; they shall not plant, and another eat:
for as the days of a tree are the days of my people, and mine elect shall long enjoy
the work of their hands.
23 They shall not labour in vain, nor bring forth for trouble; for they are the seed
of the blessed of the LORD, and their offspring with them.
* THE POLITICAL CLIMATE CHANGES as Jesus brings real peace and
justice to the earth during His reign (Isaiah 2:4; 42:6-7; 54:14-15).
Isaiah 2:4
And he shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people: and they shall
beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall
not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.
Isaiah 42:6-7
6 I the LORD have called thee in righteousness, and will hold thine hand, and will
keep thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, for a light of the Gentiles;
7 To open the blind eyes, to bring out the prisoners from the prison, and them that
sit in darkness out of the prison house.
Isaiah 54:14-15
14 In righteousness shalt thou be established: thou shalt be far from oppression;
for thou shalt not fear: and from terror; for it shall not come near thee.
15 Behold, they shall surely gather together, but not by me: whosoever shall gather
together against thee shall fall for thy sake.
* THE SPIRITUAL CLIMATE CHANGES as earth will be filled with the
knowledge of the Lord and His Word (Isaiah 2:3; 11:9; 12:4,5; 52:6-10).
Isaiah 2:3
And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD,
to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in
his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.
Isaiah 11:9
They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth
shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.
Isaiah 12:4-5
4 And in that day shall ye say, Praise the LORD, call upon his name, declare his
doings among the people, make mention that his name is exalted.
5 Sing unto the LORD; for he hath done excellent things: this is known in all the earth.
Isaiah 52:6-10
6 Therefore my people shall know my name: therefore they shall know in that day that
I am he that doth speak: behold, it is I.
7 How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings,
that publisheth peace; that bringeth good tidings of good, that publisheth salvation;
that saith unto Zion, Thy God reigneth!
8 Thy watchmen shall lift up the voice; with the voice together shall they sing: for
they shall see eye to eye, when the LORD shall bring again Zion.
9 Break forth into joy, sing together, ye waste places of Jerusalem: for the LORD hath
comforted his people, he hath redeemed Jerusalem.
10 The LORD hath made bare his holy arm in the eyes of all the nations; and all the ends
of the earth shall see the salvation of our God.
THEN WHAT? The King of King’s returns – Satan is restrained – Christ rules.
“Only one life to live and soon is past
Only what’s done for Christ will last!”
Hoping to make the time I have left count for the glory of God.
